About La Fabrique ZEB
La Fabrique ZEB is a Canadian company located in Quebec City that designs and manufactures conceptual educational tools that respect the particularity of the autistic brain.
For over 20 years, Brigitte Harrisson, an autistic person internationally renowned in the autism intervention sector, alongside Lise St-Charles, an autism supervisor, both founders of the SACCADE neurodevelopmental intervention model for Autistics, have been designing unique and specialized conceptual material.
In 2023, Brigitte and Lise teamed up with Simon St-Charles Bernier, an engineer based in Quebec City, who agreed to help create and manufacture SACCADE’s educational materials, enabling a larger population of autistic individuals to have access to the organization’s tools.
La Fabrique ZEB (or The ZEB Factory in English) is the first specialist in conceptual tools for autistic individuals that takes the particularities identified in the literature concerning how autistic people process information into account. Our unique materials are designed to allow autistic people to learn according to their individual way of processing information, and our specialized activity sets have been created for different levels of autistic development.
La Fabrique ZEB responds to the real learning needs of autistic people. Our conceptual and educational tools are designed by incorporating the autistic structure’s particularity of information processing, based on clinical experiences of the SACCADE model.
Our educational materials support attention development, allow autistic individuals to understand the meaning of the activity, support cognitive flexibility, and facilitate support for planning, and cognitive organization. Our materials create experiences where autistic individuals can achieve goals and experience accomplishments.
La Fabrique ZEB allows autistic individuals to access their full potential by promoting harmonious development through respectful support.
La Fabrique ZEB designs specialized progressive conceptual materials such as conceptual puzzles, conceptual diagram games, wooden puzzles, conceptual introductions to conventional games, tools to support conceptual visual pursuit and motor skills, and much more.
